Mom got Adam (and Jacob) some new mittens at Target a few weeks ago and yesterday was Adams first time wearing them.

SPLISH SPLASH I WAS TAKING A BATH

We got a bath together tonight. We weren't too sure what to think with the both of us in our little tub but we had fun together. Mom thought she would try it before we were too big to both fit in their together! (Those are Aunt Sue R.'s hands in the picture - she stayed with us on Sunday night!) Have a fun week everyone - we will!

Who needs the election - we are eight months old!

We turned 8 months old on Tuesday - yeah for us! We didn't watch any of the returns on TV. We had our dinner which you will see evidence of in our new pictures and played in our jumperoo and exersaucer. All in all a fun night for us!

Here we are on our first Halloween!

We had "Trick or Treat" at school/daycare but we did not come home with any candy so Mom and Dad aren't so sure that we didn't eat it all before they got there to pick us up!

The boys got to stay up a little bit later on Saturday so Mom and Dad could watch the PSU game. OK, maybe not so late - 7:30!

We are still teething but so far (Mom checks for teeth EVERY day) -- no teeth. We are just keeping Mom and Dad up at night.

We got our new winter coats this weekend and some new hats and gloves. Mom loves our new hats - we aren't so sure just yet. We got our first of 2 flu shots on Thursday. We actually didn't cry much. We got weighed at our appointment and Adam was well over 15 pounds and Jacob came in at 18 pounds and change. Adam is doing his best to catch up.

Trip to Wegmans

We went to the new Wegmans on Saturday. We got to try out the new double carts. We aren't sure what we think of them yet.

We are getting bigger!

We had our 6 month checkup today - had 4 shots each - 2 in each leg - OUCH.

Jacob is 27 1/2 inches tall and 17 lbs, 14 oz - he is 75% for height and 50% for weight - he grew almost 4 inches in 2 months!

Adam is 26 1/2 inches tall and 14 lbs, 12 oz - though he gained a 1/2 pound in 2 weeks since his last appt for an ear infection. He is at the 50% for height and 10% for weight but he has been eating like a champ so that should change soon.

Adam says

You stink if you don't like my blog......he actually said something else but since this is "family" blog.....

Here is where we started....

I am taking a step back from my original post with this picture, but I wanted to post one of the boys from when they were about 2 weeks old so that you can see how big we are now!

Hi everyone!

Well, I am going to start a blog so that I no longer have to torture family and friends with constant emailed pictures of our boys! You will be able to see them on here as soon as they available or when I get to it which is more like it. 

The main purpose of my blog will be about the "boys". Yes, some of you will may say, "what a dork" to be blogging.....but I thought it could be fun and will give our family updates on their own time. So here goes nothing. I will try my best to keep my comments relevant and try to keep my sarcasm to a minimum if that is possible? I hope you will do the same. You know who you are :) 

On 9/4, The boys turned 6 months old - can you believe that? The first picture you see to the left is of Jacob at 6 months.

Adam or as we call him, Spike - obviously at 6 months too......

So this ends my first attempt at blogging. Not much for the first installment. More to come....
